SMOK GX350 Features
Introducing the SMOK GX350, its pretty big! (in capacity). It uses four 18650 batteries in a series-parallel configuration. It may sound too big, but the diamond shape pioneered by the RX200 maintains the overall ergonomics, and feels portable. The four battery design was made for anyone who travels a lot, who can’t charge very often, and wants to vape till the eJuice runs out.
No doubt, GX350 is a great mod, but it might not be for everyone as there are many more options. The only negative is seemingly visible: it could be too big to be practical as a primary mod, or might be too big for some people. However, if you aren’t phased by the palm size, then I highly recommend the GX350, even if you don’t plan on getting anywhere near the maximum of 350W.
For instance, at the moment I am running a Kanger Subtank Atomizer on the GX350 at 30W, and I get about three days of battery. I vape quite a bit, as I spend a lot of time in front of PS4 and PC, that is around 50mL of eliquid I can use in the Kanger Subtank before it needs to be recharged. Getting a bit technical, I use 3000mAh batteries, and the SMOK GX350 uses four simultaneously. Meaning total capacity is 44.4Wh, and I can get one hour of total cumulative vape time at 44.4W. That gets me approximately 1.5 hours of vape time at 30W, so if each drag is about 5 seconds long, that’s 12 puffs for every minute and 720 puffs for every hour. For 1.5 hours of vape time, that’s 1080 puffs I can take at 30W with 3000mAh batteries in the GX350. That is tremendous battery life!
The true benefit of the SMOK GX350 is versatility. You don’t have to use atomizers that take advantage of either, the great battery life or, high power. Any atomizer will work well on the GX350, and most will likely find a balance. As an example, the UWELL Crown 3 (at 90W) will get unbelievable battery life and great performance. Even rebuild-ables can be built in whichever way you prefer, either taking advantage of the battery life, the high power, or a balance of both.
It’s not only the insane battery life that attracts vapers, it also has a great OLED screen and menu system, three button operation, spring-loaded pin, and more. SMOK’s improved firing button bar feels much more satisfying to squeeze on a mod that begs to be gripped with your entire hand. But if pure performance is your top priority, you need the GX350 in your life today!
